Environmental:

As a company, Plus Studios has taken the steps to Reduce waste by increasing the use of materials that can be Reusable and Recycled. We found that having a beneficial impact on the planet can also have a positive financial impact. 44% of our materials are wood, 27% metal and 18% fabric, carpet 7%, plastic 4%. We take our recyclable materials to Nevada Recycling and donate reusable materials to the Blind Center of Nevada and UNLV.

Social:

A sustainable business should have the support and approval of its employees, stakeholders and the community it operates in. It comes down to treating employees fairly and being a good neighbor and community member, both locally and globally.

Lifestyle Trends, Wearables and Sustainability

Another CES has come and gone. Latest attendee numbers were estimated at over 170,000 techies and about 4,500 exhibitors across 2.9 million square feet of space. For us locals, that means traffic jam within 1mile radius of Paradise, Nevada and additional time to get to our destination outside of the Strip area for at least 5 days.

Direct Philanthropic Giving

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility goals and Direct Philanthropic Giving initiative, we did a #SchoolSupplyDrive for D.L. "Dusty Dickens" Elementary School in North Las Vegas for back to school.

Fun Happenings at Plus Studios

As a corporate member of EDPA Las Vegas, every year in May we participate in the EDPA Las Vegas Chapter Education Scholarship Golf Classic. Working in conjunction with the EDPA Foundation, the EDPAF Scholarship Fund was created in 2004. They award scholarships for higher education for families of industry members.
